1983 Apple Lisa - Project

This 1983 Apple Lisa 1 is an ongoing restoration project and a fascinating example of Apple's first GUI-based personal computer. When we acquired it, its original Twiggy floppy drives had already been removed, leaving it incomplete but with plenty of restoration potential.

To bring the system back to life, we're running it with an X/Profile hard drive, generously provided by our friend John Woodall. While it's no longer configured exactly as it left the factory, this setup allows the Lisa to operate and demonstrates the remarkable software that made it such a groundbreaking machine.

This Lisa still retains its original Apple Lisa keyboard and mouse, preserving an important part of the system's authenticity.
